RiverStone Resort & Spa, and its five regional Shular Hospitality sister properties, has an exciting opportunity for two dynamic, outgoing and professional individuals interested in joining the company’s growing group sales department.  Ideal candidates should be team players that are organized, self-motivated, and passionate about the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Responsible for generating top line revenues to meet or exceed budget expectations within assigned market segments.  This includes identifying potential business, negotiating room nights and rates, and closing business with signed contracts.  Group Sales Managers actively solicit, prospect, and qualify new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through phone solicitation, conduct outside sales calls, site inspections, and attend local, regional and national trade shows, conferences, and networking events/meetings in the travel industry.

Requirements:
Our two ideal candidates must possess outgoing personalities, strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and a passion for working with groups and meeting planners.  At least 3 years of hotel experience is preferred.  Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office software applications.  Must be able to work independently, as-well-as in a group environment.  Long hours may be required at time.  Ability to travel is required.  To apply, email resume to vpsales@shular.com.
